The following rules & regulations hereinafter enumerated, govern the stay of any guest for using of the facilities & services of The Earth Lodge Cottages, Manali. . Guests are bound to abide by such Rules and Regulations:
Guests are entitled to a relaxed, enjoyable vacation. The Rules and Regulations are designed to ensure a safe, pleasant, and comfortable experience. Guests are requested to Dial 9, for any assistance, 9 for special requests, Sightseeing information, etc. and 7 for placing orders. FOR ALL OTHER REQUESTS DIAL 9
Parking of all vehicles is at owner’s risk, and at the designated area in/outside the resort - at the front entry main gate. No guest shall be allowed to park beyond the Parking Area.
a) The check-in time at the resort is 12:00 PM.
b) Any check in before 12.00 PM will be defined as early check in.
c) Requests for early check in can be directed to the front office/sales team, and may be subject to availability and an additional charge.
d) Guests shall be allowed to occupy room after proper registration at the front desk.
e) Guest would be allowed to occupy room only after proper verification at the front desk.
f) Guest would be handed over the key, only after the pending payments have been cleared at the front desk. (NO PAY – NO STAY Policy applies).
g) Room charge payment to be made at the resort would be initiated on the credit card at the time of check-in, and before keys are handed-over to the Guest.
h) All payments to be settled at the time of checkout.
a) The checkout time of the resort is 10:00 AM.
b) Any check out after this time will be defined as late check-out
c) Requests for a late check out can be directed to the front office 12 hours before scheduled check out time and will be subject to availability.
d) Guest staying beyond check out time will be charged for full day succeeding their check out date and time.
e) Extension of stay is subject to availability of room(s).
f) All extra bills must be settled either by credit card or cash before departure.
g) Cheques will not be acceptable.
RESERVATION & BOOKING POLICY
a) Reservation can only be made by an individual who is more than 21 yrs of age, and has a valid photo identification.
Pets are allowed inside the resort. Any damage done by the Pet to The Resort or Rooms will be incurred and payble by the guest.
a) Guest must ascertain the tariff/room rate at the time of reservation and at the time of signing the visitors' register at check in.
b) The room tariff may not be inclusive of any charges for food & beverages or any other services availed by the guest and these will be payable as per consumption, unless specified otherwise.
c) The resort reserves the right to modify the tariffs for any dates, and weekends.
Upgrade from a Luxury Room to a Family Suite or a Honeymoon Suite shall be subject to availability & additional charge. Request for the same can be directed to the front office/sales team, and may be subject to availability and an additional charge.
a) The main restaurant is a time bound service offered by the resort to its guest.
b) The timings for the meal sessions are as following,
Breakfast & Morning Tea:
08:30 – 10:30 Hrs.
13:00 – 15:30 Hrs.
17:00 – 18:30 Hrs.
20:00 – 22:30 Hrs.
c) Order & meals shall be served only in the respective timings & periods.
d) A la carte and room service orders will take approximately 45 minutes for preparation.
Our kitchens close at 23:00, so as to provide you on-time breakfast & tea next morning, so guests are requested to place any special order for the night by 22:30.
The operational time of the various facilities is indicated at the respective places. Facilities that are complimentary for the in-house guests are Carrom, Cricket, Badminton and other Board Games. Guests are to comply with the Club Executive who would take note of the guests using the game area.
DRIVER ACCOMMODTION & DRIVER MEALS
All drivers are to eat at the designated Driver’s Canteen. All drivers are to sleep at the designated Driver’s Dormitory, (Subject to availabilities) and any deviation from the same shall be chargeable as per actual rates.
RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED
The Resort property is for the use and enjoyment of its guests and is not open to the public. Management may refuse entry to any person.
MANAGEMENT'S LIEN ON VISITORS' LUGGAGE & BELONGINGS
In case of default in payment of dues by a guest, the management shall be entitled to a lien on the luggage and belongings and to detain the same and to sell or auction such property at any time after the day of departure, without reference to the party and appropriate the net sale proceeds towards amount due by the guest.
GUEST VALUABLES, CASH, JEWELERS, ETC.
Visitors are particularly, requested to lock the doors of their rooms when going out or when going to bed. The hotel will not in any way whatsoever, be responsible for the loss of guest's belongings or any other property not entrusted to the management or for damage thereof, whether due to neglect of hotel employees or agents or any other cause whatsoever, including theft or pilferage.
The management reserves to itself the absolute right of admission to any person in the hotel premises and to request any guest to vacate his or her room at any moment without any previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In default, the management will be entitled to remove the luggage and belongings of the visitor, from the room occupied by him or her and lock the room.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to hotel property, caused by themselves, their friends or any person for whom they are responsible.
Management does not hold itself responsible for any accidents, however caused, whether by us or by electrical gadgets, mechanical appliances etc or by natural causes, including acts of God, resulting in either loss or damage to themselves and/or their property.
Hotel keys must be deposited at the reception desk whenever guest leave the hotel premises and at the time of check out. Loss or damage to Room key will be charged Rs. 900/- extra.
Cooking in the rooms is strictly prohibited.
As per Indian Government Rules, which prohibits playing cards or any other, gambling activities in the rooms. The use of private music devices or other musical instruments is restricted.
a) Going beyond hotel boundaries is not recommended. Guest may do so, at his/her own risk.
b) Consumption of outside food and beverage is not permitted in the hotel premises.
c) Any activity pertaining to pedophilia or any audio/video material pertaining child pornography is strictly prohibited by law within the hotel premises.
WASHROOM & TOILETERIES
Individual water heaters are used to warm the tap/bath water, and hence it might take atleast 5-10 minutes for warm water to flow in the taps.
b) Bath Bucket & Mugs are available in every room.
RELATION BETWEEN HOTEL AND VISITORS
Nothing herein shall constitute or be deemed to constitute any tenancy or sub-tenancy or any right of tenancy or sub-tenancy or any right or interest in the hotel premises or any part, or portion thereof in favor of any guest or resident or visitor and the hotel shall be deemed to be in full and absolute possession and control of the whole hotel premises.
HAZARDOUS GOODS & OTHER GOODS
Storing of hazardous goods, like raw or exposed cinema films, gas cylinders, cooking stoves, inflammable fuels, firearms, etc., in the hotel premises by guest is strictly prohibited. Satellite phones & the use of them are not permitted inside the hotel premises.
GOVERNMENT RULES & REGULATIONS
Guest is requested to observe government rules and regulations in force from time to time, in respect of registration, alcoholic drinks, firearms, satellite phones etc.
AMENDMENT OF RULES
The management reserves to itself the right to add, to alter and to amend any of the above terms, conditions and rule as may deem fit to management without any prior intimation.
RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Undertaking any Adventure Activities, trips/rides or jeep rides or any outside activities during the stay at the resort, either organized by the resort or by an outside party, the guests & his dependents acknowledge that there is an element of risk. The guest acknowledge these risks, which include, among others, the risk of injury or illness in remote places without medical facilities; the ever present danger posed by the forces of nature, including wild animals; the risk of accident during travel by aircraft, automobile, truck, bus, watercraft and other means of transportation; and the guest acknowledges the dangers and rigours imposed by such activities. Knowing these risks, the guest fully assume all risk of illness, injury or death and release The Earth Lodge, its agents, associates and suppliers from all actions, claims or demands for damages or expenses resulting from his/her participation in such trips. The guest acknowledges that the obligation stated here is binding upon him/her, his/her heirs, executors and administrators, members of guest’s family and any minors the guest chooses to bring with him/her. The guest also agrees that any medical expenses incurred, will be his/her sole responsibility. The guest acknowledges that this is a liability release and a legally binding contract between the guest and The Earth Lodge, and its affiliated organizations, and the guest signs it of his/her own free will.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
The terms & conditions set out here govern the stay, booking, and terms of availing the services of The Earth Lodge.
a) A mere quotation, or sharing of the rate card doesn’t warranty availability of the rooms, or blocking of the rooms.
b) Rooms shall be blocked on your written confirmation, & advance payment as per the terms mentioned.
The prices mentioned, or quoted may be subject to revision with change in travel details.
a) Resort policies, rules & regulations apply.
b) Resort cannot be held responsible for any mishap / damage / injury / loss of life during any outdoor adventure / activity or during transit before check in or after check out.
PAYMENT TERMS: 100% advance payment.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:
a) Any & all cancellations shall be entertained through written communication to official email ids only.
b) All cancellations shall levy the following cancellation charges:
c) 0% of the total package cost shall be charged, if cancelled 30 days in advance of the check-in date.
d) 25% of the total package cost shall be charged, if cancelled 20 days in advance of the check-in date.
e) 50% of the total package cost shall be charged, if cancelled 15 days in advance of the check-in date.
f) 100% of the total package cost shall be charged, if cancelled within 15 days of the check-in date.
NO SHOW POLICY
We will refund 0%, and 100% of the total package shall be charged, in case of No-Show, i.e. the guest does not show-up at the time of check-in. The reservation prepayment will be forfeited as we held your room for you the entire night waiting for you, which we could have otherwise sold to another guest.

Besides stunning views of Himalayan mountain range, you can also experience the magic of flowing Beas and Chandra rivers. Snow Point at Rohtang Pass has emerged as a major tourist destination and hubbub of activities such as eating, shopping and yak rides.
Jogini Falls are picturesque waterfalls nestled between small hills. Surrounded by snowy mountains, pine forest and a quaint village nearby, this place offers a perfect getaway from the chaotic world. This is a great place to enjoy a little picnic or take a dip near the falls. You can also enjoy a little trekking and rock climbing here. You can also take an hour's trek to or from Vashisht temple, another tourist attraction.
The Hadimba Devi temple is one of the most ancient and important temples of this region. Located in the middle of a forest, this temple is believed to have been created in the 1500's. Created in a pagoda style, it has only a footprint of Goddess Hadimba on a stone as the center of worship. This temple not only offers a divine experience, but also gives magnificent views of the landscape.
Naggar Castle & Nicholas Roerich Art gallery
The Naggar Castle, the erstwhile capital of Kullu was created by Raja Sidh Singh in 1460. In 1978, the castle was converted into a Rest House, and more recently into a Heritage Hotel. This castle showcases mix of European and Himalayan architecture, perfectly blending in stone and wooden construction. With its spectacularly intricate wooden carvings and arched balconies, this magnificent historical edifice is a feast for the eyes. Its interiors are laced with fine wood work, fireplaces and interesting artefacts. This place was also a home to Russian artist Nicolas Roerich, who created incredible art pieces which are now on display in the museum.
Bijli Mahadev as the name suggests is Lord Shiva's temple that attracts his blessings in the form of lightning. Its unique feature is the high staff of 60 feet that glistens like a needle in the sun. It is believed that the priests of the temple restore the Shiva linga inside the temple every time it is shattered to pieces by the lightening. Apart from a religious experience, the temple offers panoramic views of Kullu and Parvati valleys.
Manikaran is a small town of religious significance for Hindus and Sikhs. It is home to many temples and Gurudwaras. Pulsating with a stream of pilgrims from both faiths, this place emanates divinity and reverence for life. This place also has hot springs, whose water is believed to have healing powers. Come here to visit the temples, bathe in the holy springs or relish the "langar" at the Gurudwaras.
Anjani Mahadev is a holy temple dedicated to Devi Anjana, mother of Lord Hanuman. This place is also called the "Amarnath of Kullu" owing to the icy shiva linga that is formed here in the months of October to March. It is believed that Anjana meditated at this place. Many Shiva devotees visit this temple to see the Ice Shiva Linga.
